AcadeMir Charter School South
Rosali Ortega has been in Education for over a decade, of which the last 8 years have been with AcadeMir Charter Schools. She has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Florida International University, with endorsements in Reading, English Speakers of Other Language, and certification in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Ortega is very passionate about teaching students to be life-long learners and problem solvers, and is dedicated to preparing them for the S.T.E.A.M. careers of the 21st Century.
For several years she was a classroom teacher of third, fourth, and fifth grade students. In 2020, she became a Mathematics Curriculum Specialist within the organization, a role that allowed her to collaborate with and support teachers in their instruction. She then became a school administrator in August 2021 and will now be the proud principal of a new campus, AcadeMir Charter School South. Mrs. Ortega is very excited to work closely with the students, staff and families of this community in order to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment as we “Grow Into Academic Excellence.”
Mrs. Ortega is married and has three children, of which the two oldest are proud students of AcadeMir Charter Schools.
