AcadeMir Charter School EAST MIddle
Rosali Ortega has over 10 years of experience in education, of which the last 7 of them have been with AcadeMir Charter Schools. She has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Florida International University. For many years she was a classroom teacher of third, fourth, and fifth grade students. Mrs. Ortega is very passionate about teaching students to be life-long learners and problem solvers. She has always been very involved with the school community as a grade level chair and with leading school S.T.E.A.M. initiatives.
In 2020, she became the Mathematics Curriculum Specialist, a role that allowed her to collaborate with and support teachers in their instruction. Upon the opening of a new campus in 2021, she became the Assistant Principal for AcadeMir Charter School East in Doral. Mrs. Ortega is very excited to work closely with the students, staff and families of AcadeMir Charter School East at Doral in order to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment on the path to academic excellence.
OUR MISSION
AcadeMir Charter School East Middle (6-8), promotes
students’ self-motivation to be successful in all
subject areas, especially in science, mathematics,
reading and technology, by progressively building on
their individual talents and abilities. In order to foster
students’ life-long learning and allow them to reach
their full potential as productive, responsible
members of today’s global and highly technological
society, a nurturing, educational environment and the
implementation of research- proven educational
models will be utilized. These models focus on
problem solving, collaboration, and communication
through the integration of technology.
Mrs. Ortega is married and has two daughters who are very happy and proud students at AcadeMir Charter School East.
